The Wharf Open Mic/Showcase Nights
Fallen Cedars will be re-launching The Wharf (Tavistock) open mic/showcase nights as from Thursday 6th Nov with a new twist. The difference between this night and the many successful open mic nights in the area is that it is a step up onto The Wharf stage with professional lighting and PA with monitors. It’s an opportunity to hone your stagecraft in a friendly and supportive environment. Performers will get a maximum of a 20 minute slot. If you want to come along and trial one or two songs, there will be a debut slot at the beginning of the evening.
The twist is that each month there will be a showcase band who will end the evening. They will receive a recording from the desk. Fallen Cedars and The Wharf staff will also be looking out for artists to be included in future gigs at the venue. The first month is open to all musical genres; however, in future, they plan to run some themed genre nights too.
If you are interested in playing want to book a slot or want to find out more, contact Fallen Cedars at fallencedars.com or via messaging on Facebook at facebook.com/FallenCedars.
